Other parts of the virus like the Nucleocapsid haven't mutated that much, so the unjabbed DO have some immunity against these new variants.

Yes the extent to which this level of glycosylation & fusogenicity contributes to real world observed pathogenicity remains to be seen. It is theoretical until observed, and observed in many cases. I sincerely hope it's not!
