More adventures!!! Rugged/Beautiful scene and scenery!! I have been subscribed for a few years now to Britbox so that I can have access to the BBC Gardener's World - Monty Don. Not really related at all to your hikes-outings, but, kind of, to my American mind. I haven't kept up in the past year as I'd rather pursue info on world and national events, including all things covid. And I'm quite disgusted with the BBC nowadays, though I figure that's not Monty's fault. Anyway, thank you for sharing, I quite enjoyed diving in - including the train video (I'll get to the 1963 snip some day)!!

Thanks for your support and feedback 🫡. It's spectacular country, even without high mountain ranges.

I was an avid watcher of Gardener's World back in the 90s. There was a brilliant presenter called Geoff Hamilton who we lost far too young.

He presented from Barnsdale Gardens in Rutland, and did a slide show in '92 when I was working at Ryton Organic Gardens, HDRA, and he really knew his subject.

Monty couldn't quite replace him, but he's good.

I did watch most all things re: 50 yr Anniversary episodes of Gardener's World, and do remember much homage paid to Mr Hamilton. In looking for the slide show, I found all kinds of great gardening clips of his... Didn't find the slide show episode, tho now I know what the acronym HDRA is! I'm not surprised you worked in organic gardens: respect.

We were lucky enough to have him come to us at Coventry, with a Q&A after. It's a shame it wasn't recorded.
